CVE-2024-3272D-Link storage devices — a hard-coded account in a web script

Several D-Link network storage boxes carry a fixed account in one of their web scripts, and anyone who can reach the device uses it to run commands. D-Link confirms the affected models are end of life and will not be fixed.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Replace the affected storage devices; the vendor declared them end of life and will ship no fix. Until they are gone, take them off every network reachable from outside.
