CVE-2025-29635D-Link DIR-823X — command injection in the web interface

The affected D-Link router firmware (DIR-823X, builds 240126 and 240802) passes a request parameter into a shell command without cleaning it, so an attacker with a valid login runs commands on the device. A Mirai botnet campaign is doing exactly that.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Replace the device — it is listed as end-of-life and no fix is coming; until then keep its web interface off any routable network.
