CVE-2018-15133Laravel — a cookie unserialized into code execution

Laravel through 5.5.40 and 5.6.29 unserializes a value taken straight from a request cookie, so an attacker who knows the application key runs code on the server. That key is normally secret, so this needs an earlier leak.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Upgrade Laravel past 5.6.29, and rotate the application key anywhere it may have leaked — that key is the only thing between a request and code execution.
