CVE-2026-20182Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN — peering authentication bypass to admin

The peering handshake in Cisco's Catalyst software-defined wide-area network boxes (SD-WAN Controller, Manager and Validator) does not authenticate properly, so an unauthenticated attacker can log in as a high-privileged account and rewrite the fabric's configuration.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Follow CISA Emergency Directive 26-03 and apply Cisco advisory cisco-sa-sdwan-rpa2-v69WY2SW now; run the Show Control Connections check for peers you cannot place.
