CVE-2024-5274Google Chrome — type confusion in V8, again

A crafted page confuses types in V8, the JavaScript engine in Chrome before 125.0.6422.112, and runs the attacker's code inside the renderer. Every Chromium-based browser carries the same engine and the same flaw.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Update Chrome to 125.0.6422.112 or later, and push the matching build of every other Chromium browser you run — the flaw sits in the shared engine.
