CVE-2024-39717Versa Director — favicon upload takes an executable payload

The interface customization in Versa Director accepts any file whose name ends in .png, so an account with provider-level administrator rights can upload code disguised as an image. Versa confirms the upload path needs a successful login first.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Apply the fix from the Versa security bulletin, then review the customization directory for uploaded .png files that are not images.
