CVE-2024-32896Android Pixel — a logic error in the firmware

A logic error in Pixel firmware raises an attacker who is already on the phone to higher privileges without needing any further rights of their own. Google's bulletin names the class and the fix, and nothing about the code path.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Install the June 2024 Pixel security update. Handsets past their support window will not receive it, and the fix lives in firmware, so replacing them is the only remedy.
