CVE-2023-7024Chrome — heap overflow in the real-time media stack

A crafted page overflows a heap buffer in the real-time communication component (WebRTC) that Chrome and many other applications embed. Fixed in Chrome 120.0.6099.129; anything shipping the same component needs its own update.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Update Chrome to 120.0.6099.129 or later, then look at applications that embed the browser engine — the flaw travels with the component, not with Chrome.
