CVE-2023-46747F5 appliance — requests that walk past the login

Undisclosed requests slip past the login on the configuration utility of an F5 appliance (BIG-IP), and an attacker who never authenticated runs system commands. Ransomware crews used it together with the injection flaw beside it.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Install the fixed release from the F5 advisory now, and treat any appliance whose management interface was reachable from outside as one that owes you a compromise check.
