CVE-2023-21492Samsung — kernel addresses written into the log

Samsung builds printed kernel pointers into a log file, so a privileged local attacker reads where things sit in memory and the address randomisation stops being an obstacle. The May 2023 security release fixes it.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Install the May 2023 Samsung security update or later. On its own this only leaks addresses; it is the enabler a memory exploit needs, not the exploit itself.
