CVE-2022-24816GeoServer — a map script compiled into running Java

An imaging extension (JAI-EXT) compiles a Jiffle map script into Java and runs it, so any application that accepts such a script over the network hands the caller code execution. GeoServer is the project where this is reachable in practice.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Upgrade the imaging extension to 1.2.22 or later. Where that must wait, remove the janino jar from the classpath — the advisory names that as the supported workaround.
