CVE-2022-22265Samsung Exynos — the neural processing driver writes anywhere

The neural processing driver (NPU) on Samsung devices with certain Exynos chipsets handles error conditions badly, which lets an attacker write memory at will and run code. The January 2022 security release carries the fix.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Install the January 2022 Samsung security update or later. Handsets that never received it stay affected, and no setting takes the driver out of reach.
